Update #2: Marvelous generosity

A deep bow of appreciation to everyone who has supported the Generations Project so far!

To date, we have raised $462,751 toward our total of $1.2 million for the building that will replace our aging Hermitage, greatly expanding our capacity to train the Buddhist leaders of tomorrow and expand our programs for families, eco-Buddhists, Refuge Recovery, and many more.

If you would like to learn more about the Generations Project, review the floorplans for the new building, or make a gift in support, we invite you to explore the other pages of this site.

Volunteers hang a quilt in the Sangha Hall as part of a special display about the Generations Project campaign.

For our sangha members in Ann Arbor, stop by the Sangha Hall to see a special display with materials on the project.

For all our sangha members near and far, we are humbled by your generosity.

Update #1: Fundraising kickoff

As Margaret Mead said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”

We’re excited to announce the beginning of our Generations Project fundraising campaign to build a new Buddhist center for training and education in southeast Michigan to serve the surrounding community for decades to come.

As we go along, we’ll share updates and progress on milestones through this website.

For now, take a look at this website to find ways you can donate money and time to support the project.
